The Perfume Lady Diana Wore on Her Wedding Day – Houbigant Quelques Fleurs L’Original

My dad was a huge fan of Lady Diana—so much so that he gave me Diana as my middle name, lol. I still remember how he would always watch the news about her, mesmerized by her elegance, kindness, and resilience despite all the media frenzy and scandals. Growing up, I read so many books about her. She truly became one of my earliest inspirations.

Louis Vuitton Coeur Battant Review

 

We all know LV for their bags, but why is no one talking about their perfume collection? I think Louis Vuitton perfume deserves more love—it’s not just about their bag.

I got this sample from my purchase of Louis Vuitton Contre Moi (I’ll review that one later). The SA gave me two samples to try—Cœur Battant and Matière Noire. I’ve always loved trying perfume samples like these before purchasing the full-size bottle. The experience is always lovely.

I usually set my own time, at my own pace, in my bedroom. I spritz a little bit of the precious perfume juice on my wrist, close my eyes… and in that moment, I’m transported into another sweet imagination that somehow mirrors the feeling of the perfume.

The opening of Cœur Battant smells fresh and sweet on me—like a sparkle of chilled pear water mixed with sunlight. It’s fruity, but not cloying at all (I really can’t handle overly sweet, screechy scents—they tend to trigger my migraines). The fresh-fruity top note feels playful and cheerful. I think it will really appeal to young adults. It honestly made me feel young again (lol).

Then, the soft jasmine and blooming ylang-ylang come in, with a touch of greenness—probably from the narcissus. Around this time, I can also smell the patchouli, blending smoothly with the earlier sweetness. It adds an earthy tone, and there’s also something woody and mossy in the drydown, like being in a misty forest. This part of the scent feels like my younger self—full of passion and chasing my dreams.

I smiled while wearing it. This beautiful, well-blended perfume from Louis Vuitton brought back memories of how I lived fully in the past with no regrets. It made me feel grateful, and it stirred something in me—a little spark of that old fire.

That’s why I truly appreciate a fine fragrance like this. Not because it’s expensive or from LV, but because the blend is so beautifully crafted.

Even though I really enjoyed my time with Coeur Battant, I don’t think it suits my current self anymore. It feels like a younger version of me. But if you’re in your 20s or early 30s, I believe you’ll fall in love with this scent—especially if you like something fresh, fruity, yet slightly grounded but still elegant. This is a very feminine fragrance.

In my opinion, Coeur Battant can be worn from day to night. It’s light and fun enough to wear for brunch or hangouts with friends, and soft and romantic enough for a dinner date. I bet your date would love this scent on you (if he’s into sweet, feminine women). ;D

Setelah berjuang dengan mental health, aku kembali dengan sesuatu yang baru dan ingin challenge diri aku sendiri melakukan hal yang belum pernah aku lakukan selama ini, yaitu dengan membuat konten di youtube secara konsisten dan sharing hal-hal menarik dengan orang-orang.

Selama ini, aku tidak pernah konsisten karena aku struggle dengan mental health. Bahkan blog aku saja jadi terbengkalai kan, dan aku jarang post di instagram juga karena sering breakdown. Nah karena belakangan ini aku mulai membaik, aku ingin balik menulis blog lagi dan juga mencoba untuk membuat konten video di youtube.

Jujur aja, aku tidak percaya diri dan aku tau video aku masih banyak sekali kekurangan, tapi aku sangat bersemangat karena banyak hal yang ingin aku share dan ceritakan. Selain itu, aku jadi bersemangat karena murid-murid yang dekat denganku menyemangati aku agar mencoba membuat video karena mereka senang mendengarkan aku bercerita. 0:D

Video ini tidak aku script dan berjalan secara langsung saja karena jujur aku juga bingung untuk buat settingan yang seperti apa. Aku hanya memposisikan diri aku seperti sedang bercerita ke teman aku aja, wkwk jadinya mungkin kurang akting dan kurang seru ya? Maaf ya kalo misalnya terlalu datar, karena aku ini introvert yang cukup akut. Mungkin yang sesama introvert bisa mengerti perasaan aku? :)

Walaupun aku deg-degan, hari ini aku memutuskan untuk post saja di youtube ketimbang aku cancel lagi. Aku sering membuat tulisan untuk blog dan juga video-video yang akhirnya tidak aku post sewaktu aku tinggal di UK. Penyakit mental itu sangat aneh, hal-hal yang aku sukai jadi hal yang aku takutkan...

Aku jujur sangat senang karena akhirnya aku bisa post video unboxing Chanel Comete ini di saat kondisiku lagi tidak aneh-aneh. Apalagi parfum Chanel ini sangat berharga karena adalah hadiah dari suamiku di ulang tahunku yang ke 37. 

Semoga kalian bisa enjoy dengan celotehanku di video dan jadi sedikit lebih mengerti tentang parfum. Aku tau penjelasan parfum sangat abstrak, mungkin aku juga kurang ahli dalam menjelaskan, tapi aku harap kalian bisa mencoba parfum ini juga someday. Guerlain Aqua Allegoria Granada Salvia Review

Seperti biasa, aku mau test parfum baru lagi karena di saat seperti ini parfum adalah salah satu hal yang bikin happy dan seru. I mean, saat aku menikmati wangi racikan parfum yang bagus, aku dapat langsung transport to another place and time. Aku merasa parfum dapat memberikan aku personal space yang intimate. ❤️

Kali ini, aku bakal cobain parfum dari Guerlain dari seri Aqua Allegoria yang namanya Granada Salvia. Koleksi Aqua Allegoria ini sudah ada sejak 1999 dan sangat populer karena ada banyak sekali jenisnya.
