The Ordinary Lactic Acid 10% + HA Review

Hi guys, finally, I'm back with beauty reviews again. Perhaps, I'll do more reviews like this in the future, just like the old times. :)

So, this time, I want to share my thoughts about this product, not about the brand or about the ingredients. You can find more information about that on their website.

Last year, I decided to try this product from The Ordinary. That time, I browsed through their entire collection on their website and decided to get this. I was attracted by the peeling effect of using Lactic Acid.

I have a lot of acne scars and freckles all over my face. The freckles and big pores are through gene and the acne scars are because of my hormone. I need something that could offer mild exfoliation to my scars.

My bare skin; as you can see, I have many freckles, big pores and acne scars. :)

My skin can't stand scrub, it makes my skin rough and the breakout worse.

The texture of this product is like water. At first, I mixed the lactic acid with the rosehip oil and only applied to my skin at night. After I woke up, my husband said that my skin looked like glass. That was my husband reaction when he saw my face that morning.

I didn't expect it at all. But then, I ran to the bathroom to check my skin in the mirror and was surprised. My skin was glowing and looked so smooth. Since that day, this product has become a staple in my skincare routine.

I've noticed that the effect could be seen directly once I wake up. After I washed my face, the glass effect is gone, but my skin looks smooth. I don't mind tho. I feel like it calms the redness on my face overnight I just love this so much!

This acid is good for reducing any small bumps on my skin, especially during my PMS time. My skin breakout easily because of my hormonal imbalance, and this helps a thousand times!

If people ask me, what is one product that I'd recommend from The Ordinary; it's the Lactic Acid 10% + HA.

Since it contains HA, it doesn't rip the moisture on my skin directly, but it balances them. However, my skin is a little bit dry on the cheek, so I have to apply some face oil after the application of the Lactic Acid. My skin is a little bit sensitive.

Now, that my skin has grown a tolerance to this product, I don't need to dilute the solution to any oil anymore. I apply it directly to my skin after toner with a cotton pad before sleep.

You could see that I almost finish the bottle. This is something that I would repurchase over and over again. The price is super affordable, and it takes ages to finish. :D
