Fashion Coord 0.3 - Ripped Jeans

The ripped jeans trend is back from the 80s to the current year and will never go faded. In fact, many celebrities can't get enough of it. If you see celebs or fashion model's street style, you'll notice that these super sexy ripped jeans are always trendy to have.

Ripped jeans styles aka distressed jeans look amazing with simple shoe sneakers, heels, and you can also pair it with crop tops, bodysuits (like black lace bodysuits) and any tops. Investing in some crop tops and distressed jeans will never go wrong.

The first pair of jeans were designed in the late 1870s by Loeb Strauss, a German businessman who changed his name to Levi and founded the denim brand, Levis.

I've got my first ripped jeans in 2018 cos I wasn't into any trousers before. Why? Because I prefered skirt over pant. Guess what? I think I've changed. I love wearing trousers as well now because it makes my leg looks longer. 😂

In this look, I wear skinny ripped jeans in a dark blue colour and pair it with an oversized white knitted top. It looks casual yet stylish at the same time.

I prefer getting my clothes from a trusted brand with a more affordable price tag, so it doesn't rip my wallet. We only need ripped jeans, not a ripped wallet. 😝

By being smart with my money management, I could invest in additional pieces for my wardrobe collection.

In case you're wondering, I got most of my ripped jeans from Femme Luxe as well as the crop tops. They have a selective and adorable variation of models that would blow your mind.

Compared to other online stores, they have pretty well the same trend, sometimes with different colours or with a different design, but the same vibes. One thing I noticed is that FL has a more affordable price for the same piece of top or dress, with the same material and colour.

I'm sure that this coral top would catch your eyes. This crop top reminds me of a mermaid. It looks so adorable with sparkling material. At first, I was a bit sceptical about the fabric. I was afraid that it would appear low in quality. It turns out very pretty and perfect for the beach or just for hanging out with friends!

My husband praised this piece as well, he said the colour is beautiful and appealing.

I pair the mermaid crop top with the same ripped jeans I wear below. The difference is that I try to match the jeans with a knitted cropped jumper in black, and it's perfect.

I honestly think I could wear all the looks anywhere, they all look so attractive and fashionable. This essential straight-leg ripped jeans is a must-have cos it compliments most of the tops I own.

The only problem is that I have to start working on some exercises to shape my round belly ASAP so that when the weather is a bit warmer, I'm ready to go out.

Ripped jeans are available in a variety of styles- from the sexy skinny leg to cool and casual boyfriend jeans with a cropped hem or high waisted that will give you the cool edge to your style. I've got 5 distressed jeans in my wardrobe at the moment. Two of them you've seen here, one of them is mom jeans, the other one is boyfriend jeans and the last is loose oversized ripped jeans.

I know that this trend may be a bit unusual for an ordinary woman, but once you've grasped the cool vibes, you wouldn't want to go back.

There's another trend that caught my eyes at the end of 2019, it's the corset trend.

We all know that corset has been used to shape a woman's body in the past. How about now? There're corset over-dresses, corset dress, corset top, corset over an oversized t-shirt and the list continues.

Some wear corset-inspired tops with ripped jeans, and they're fantastic. Many celebrities are showing this style as well, what do you think of that?

Do you like this ripped jeans trend as well? Have you heard about the corset trend?

Talk with you at my next fashion post!
